Why Extruded vs Flat Street Name Signs? Sign Avenue offers two types of street blanks:

Extruded sign blanks (above) are well suited for signs to be installed outdoors using specialized sign hardware like our Wing Bracket. For more information on pole mounted signs see our Sign Hardware page.

blank_flat.gif (1453 bytes)

Flat blanks (above) are great for signs that are going to mounted directly on the wall, as well as bracket mounted. You can specify pre-drilled holes, but pre-drilling is not necessary if using any of our brackets.
